This webinar presented the implications of HEADSTART methodology on the truck platooning use case, as well as on automated driving key enabling technologies, namely Communication V2X and Positioning. Special attention was paid to:
- Scenario selection and allocation;
- Testing of scenarios (Field Testing, Proving Ground, XiL and Virtual Testing);
- Evaluation of test results.
The interactive discussion resulted on providing valuable feedback on feasibility and added value of scenario-based assessment for truck platooning, brought out the need for different testing types, and highlighted the specific implementation requirements for truck platooning.
